THE WONDER OF GRACE
Rom 11:6 And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.
What a wonderful thing grace is! We so often need to be reminded of this wonderful gift given to us. Grace has been defined as "the eternal relationship that the Father has with His Son". And I think that says it all. The Father loves the only begotten Son of God and the most amazing thing is that when the Father looks at His Children, He sees THE SON IN US! He is incredibly blessed by this as because of those that have received His Son. I believe that there is nothing, no works,etc, that we can do to bless God. In the Old Testament, under Law and other dispensations, works had to be done to please God, but that was not grace. As the scripture above says that if it was by works, then it is no longer GRACE! If it was still works, then grace would not be grace.
No man understood grace better than the Apostle Paul as he was made the minister of the dispensation of grace. (Eph 3:2) This was a mystery and the mystery that he was given to preach is: Wait for it!!!! Christ in you!!! There it is... The Son in us! You see, everything, and I mean EVERYTHING in the Fathers eyes centres around HIS SON! He is all and in all!!
Many well-meaning people/pastors, etc... preach from the Old Testament, the Synoptic gospels and so on. (Nothing wrong with this in itself.) However, the bottom line is that only the preaching of the risen Christ is life! Out of the whole Bible, only the letters of Paul teach us about our identity which is us being IN CHRIST (approximately 72 scriptures) and Christ in us. Paul was the apostle of grace and the apostle to the Gentiles. No other man was given this commission. No other man was given the message for this dispensation, the dispensation of grace. Unfortunately, 90% of the church does not preach Paul's gospel (which is Christ in you also known as the mystery hidden since the world began.) Even newer bibles that are printed have deleted the in Christ scriptures. The truth is not rightly divided and there is so much mixture being preached that it brings confusion. I want to repeat that this is all being done by "well-meaning" ministers. There are many reasons for them doing this as well but I won't go into these now. In "rightly dividing" we need to understand a few things. 4/5 of the Bible can be seen and is prophecy. (This also contains 5 of the dispensations all of which has failed) Only 1/5 of the Bible was written by Paul and contains grace. (There is no prophecy in grace, in other words, prophecy is not the primary issue in grace, but Paul's gospel is). Only 1/5 of the Bible is therefore for the Gentiles. Grace was a mystery revealed by revelation to the Apostle Paul. Isn't it strange that God had to choose another apostle to reveal this to? Why? Because the other 12 apostles were all still taken up by the law, Peter and James, being the main ministers of this gospel. Not one of them even preached the cross, only Paul did this about 5 times. Most ministers today still mix law and grace, and if not, then they are still heavy into "church law". I believe that 90% of Christians today do not understand this. The emphasis is not on Christ in you, but rather on prosperity, healing, the gifts, etc. An incredible thing has been lost in the Church. Its more about the Christian being preached instead of Christ. (Hence so much division, congregationalism, institutionalism, law and mixture.)
