Joined to the Lord forever!!!

 

1 Corinthians 6:17

But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit

146 times, the Apostle Paul uses the phrase "in Christ" and "Christ in you" and "in Him". *(See below for just a few of them)

This phrase simply means "joined" to the Lord.  We are in a continual non-separated state with the Lord.

The words "Christ IN you, the hope of glory" is the most single, powerful truth I have experienced in my life since being born again.  Colossians 1:27 states that it is "the RICHES of the glory of this mystery" which has been made known.  

It means that where you are, Christ is! Joined to Him.  You can never be separated from him. (Rom. 8:35,39)

To have a spontaneous, conscious reality of this throughout your day creates a type of 4th dimensional living.  (Outside of 3rd dimensional living in time, space and matter)  One can walk in a sphere of thinking that is peace and joy in the Lord.  

This "being joined to the Lord" consciousness should be part of our daily journey, learning and knowing Christ that lives in us and through us.

In the Father's time, this is revealed to us, for it comes by revelation.  Galatians 1:15,16  "But when it PLEASED GOD...to REVEAL HIS SON IN ME"  The word "when" is a time element.  It is a pleasing thing to our Father to live by the Son in us.

Galatians 2:20 says that "Christ liveth in me...I live by the faith of the Son of God" 

When did all this start?  When did this "joining" start? In Ephesians 1:4, it says "he has chosen us IN HIM (to be joined) before the foundation of the world was even laid!!!  Wow!  What a plan God had. (You can also read "The reason for everything" in this blog.)

My prayer (with the Apostle Paul) is that: "the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of this calling..." Ephesians 1:18
