ABSOLUTE AND FULL GRACE
More on GRACE
Grace given to us by God is total and complete. We have FULL GRACE which cant be added to. The understanding of true grace starts when we understand / have the revelation of Christ as your life, in other words, that Christ lives in you. We start moving from law to grace when we have received the revelation of Christ. The worst thing is to have is some law and some grace. Martin Luther once said that he'd rather have it that people are completely under law than to mix law and grace.
This total grace that we are speaking about was ratified at the cross. At the cross, law was completely and totally annulled and in its place, grace was completely and totally given to us. All that is left is Christ in us, the mystery revealed.
Once we understand this, even our prayer life changes! We no longer need to "earn points with God." He is our Father and I love what Warren Litzman says about this. The need to pray for ourselves becomes less and less and even our "conversation" with each other becomes "Christ" so to speak. When we speak to each other it becomes like speaking to God! Why? Because Christ now lives in us and He isn't somebody "out there". We are inextricably linked/joined/in one spirit with Him in unbroken and Divine fellowship. Did I make this up? No! The word says that we are hidden with him in God and also that he who is joined to the Lord is ONE SPIRIT! How the law of man and everything that has been put on us just disolves, breaks up, dissapears into nothing and where the spirit is, there is liberty. Glory be to God. What a lovely place to be! Ask God for this with all your heart, and you will find it. He is the revelator. When we continually have the "mind of Christ" we are literally mindful of the fact of who we are and that we can be who we are with Christ living through us and we dont have to act to try to be someone else. You dont have to be a Spurgeon, or Billy Graham or somebody else. You are you as you have been created with Christ living in and through you!
THIS IS THE ULTIMATE GRACE OF GOD
GOD DID EVERYTHING THAT HE CAN DO AT THE CROSS AND IT IS FINISHED! ONLY BELIEVE! THIS IS THE DEFINITION OF THE ULTIMATE GRACE OF GOD
You see, anything else is by human effort. Anything that we try to do to please God within our selves is religion. We please God when we do everything by HIS SON. What an awesome revelation this is! It only does one thing and that is spurs you on in your LOVE AFFAIR WITH HIM WHO IS LOVE ITSELF, FOR GOD IS LOVE!
BLESS YOU AS YOU SEEK HIM!
Yours in Christ - Bryan
