Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

(e.g. Moses Law is not for me)
The whole bible is for you, but the whole bible is not written to you!

RIGHTLY DIVIDE THE WORD OF TRUTH!


Paul's 14 epistles are divided up into the Acts epistles and the prison epistles. They were written in the period Acts 13 to Acts 28 - The Acts period where Paul wrote his 7 Prison epistles. (Galatians, Romans, 1&2 Corinthians, 1&2 Thessalonians and Hebrews)


Two very important things are dealt with in these epistles:
1. Message to the Jews. He talks to them about getting saved! Romans 9,10 and 11, half of Galatians, most all of Hebrews written to Israel. He was preaching to the Jew first. (Romans 1:16) They now were not saved by being a Jew anymore (for ALL have sinned), now they had to be BORN AGAIN. (Jesus to Nicodemus) (At that time, the Jews had four covenants which still has to be fulfilled which will now only happen after the Tribulation Period.) This message/gospel was never for the Gentiles only for Israel. Jesus only dealt with 2 gentiles in His ministry (which was to the House of Israel only), the Syrophoenician woman and the Centurion's servant - blessings to dogs. When he sent out the twelve disciples, he expressly told them, "Don't go to Samaria (a Gentile territory)."
2. Introduction to the IN CHRIST message. 147 times being "in Christ" is mentioned. Acts 28:28, Paul introduces the proclamation that the message will now go to the Gentiles. (This obviously included the Jews, but they were no longer considered Jews "In Christ" Gal 3:28; Col 3:11) The message of the Kingdom (Jesus of Nazareth as the Messiah) is now set aside. (The Judaistic gospel of Peter is made up of Moses Law, the teachings of Jesus of Nazareth in the synoptic gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke, Pentecostalism, the message preached by Peter at Pentecost and the circumcision gospel.) This gospel no longer goes to Israel. Now the Grace gospel for Gentiles is preached for them to be saved. The Jew would now have to accept the grace gospel to be saved. (Law of Moses was done away with on the cross. Rom 10:4) This gospel was free from the Law. The gentiles are now able to become a "new nation", a "new creation race". The "mystery" gospel now comes into effect: The preaching of Jesus Christ according to the revelation of the mystery (Romans 16:25) which is Christ in you, the hope of glory (Col. 1:27)


THE GOSPEL TO THE GENTILES
Paul wrote 7 more epistles. These are the Prison Epistles. (Although 2 were written outside of prison for a while, but they are included)
Facts about the 7 prison epistles. The word Israel is only used two times, one of the in Philippians where Paul described his old affiliation to being a Jew.
The message has changed and now goes to the Gentiles. No more law to be banked on. Repentance not necessary for salvation (that was for Israel along with water baptism) now only believe on the Lord Jesus Christ to be saved. Do'er religion is now melted out of every aspect of the gospel of grace. The sinner is now DEAD on the cross. That's grace!


In Ephesians 3:1, Paul introduces the gospel of grace to the Gentiles. Here he states that the dispensation of grace of God has been given to him to share with the Ephesians. A dispensation is an era, a time period, a God-allotted time to achieve a purpose. A special dispensation of the revelation of the mystery is given to Paul. For the first time, since the creation of the world, a new message is released to the world right until this day.


Now..."whosoever believeth can be saved"


THE HIDDEN MYSTERY/SECRET OF GOD IS NOW REVEALED!
Now the time was right! God could reveal a secret that had been hidden since the beginning! And it was given to Paul. (He calls it my gospel)


Eph 3:4,5 - Rom 16:25 - Col 1:26 all state that his gospel was hid!
"Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:"
When was this secret conceived in the mind of God?
Before the world began!!
Ephesians 1:4
"According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world"


THE REVELATION OF CHRIST
Now the secret of eons, times, eras and dispensations is given to us.
CHRIST IN ME, THE HOPE OF GLORY!
This has nothing to do with Israel, the law of Moses, the Old Testament (Mostly prophecy for Israel - nothing mentioned for the Gentile).
I died at the cross. (All are dead to God). On believing, Christ came to live in me and the Father sees Christ in me, AS ME!
Galatians 2:20
I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.


Crucified means DEAD!
Christ lives in me (as me!)
I do not have my "own" faith. I AM DEAD! I now live by HIS FAITH!


WHAT A REVELATION! WHAT A VICTORY! WHAT A LIBERTY FOR THE SONS OF GOD!


CHRIST LIVETH IN ME!
