The Reason for Everything
Part 1
For centuries and ages, a mystery was hidden from man but is now revealed! Many do not know or understand this mystery. If you are hurting, confused, feel lost or seeking and hungry for something more...this book is for you! You can know the reason for everything:
Christ in you,
the hope of glory
Col 1:16 For by him (Jesus) were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
Col 1:17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
This is such good news and it is all part of Paul’s gospel which we will look at in more depth in a moment. This is the key scripture for this writing. All things were made by Jesus Christ. They were made by him, for him and exist by him. There is nothing in this world that happens without the process of Divine Authority and Divine Correction.
In Him
Another key scripture here is the following: Acts 17 vs 28: For in him we live, and move, and have our being;
In him we live and move and have our being. It is crucial that you see this! All things consist IN CHRIST.
This is the reason that we are baptized into Christ. (Romans 6:3, Gal 3:27) In fact, nothing in this world can function properly without this incredible revelation. For example, Gal_3:28 “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.” If the whole world would understand that in Christ there is neither Jew nor Greek, in other words, no black nor white, no religion, no race issues, etc, it would end all strife. In fact, we are all one blood (Acts 17:26) All of this took place on the cross when Jesus died.
Christ in you
Now we can see the reason why we are in Christ. Because we are made for Him. A Christian is in the body of Christ, the bride of Christ and the church of Christ. Now let me tell you something. Paul writes about this and he
We can see some things here:
1. We can only be established by God according to Paul’s gospel.
2. Paul preaches Jesus Christ according to the revelation of the mystery.
3. This mystery was kept secret since the world began. (Key element)
4. Paul was the first man to receive this revelation. (Gal 1:11,12)
Where did it all start?
Now we can see something really amazing! This was God’s first intention, that everything be IN CHRIST right from the very beginning! When were we chosen in Christ? Before the world began! Eph_1:4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
Before this world was even made, God had a master plan which includes you. Now have a look at this scripture: Gal 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
This is one of the deepest and incredible scriptures you will ever come to know. You, as a Christian, have died and Christ now lives in you as you. This is the master plan and everything in creation fits in with this.
THE MYSTERY—THE SECRET BY WHICH GOD RUNS THE WORLD!
Now, I want to share the “mystery” of God with you. A “secret” that has been hidden since the creation of the world. This is explained in:
Romans 16:25 Now to Him who is able to establish you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the
mystery kept secret since the world began
The whole world “runs” on this secret and the mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of
Glory.
Colossians 1:27 To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
Quote from Pastor Warren Litzman:
God would use the Apostle Paul to “take this big secret by which the whole world was run. Everything in the world was under the control of that big secret. Nothing has ever taken place that was separated from this thing in God’s mind.” (The whole Old Testament had to do with this secret) Everything that has ever happened to a human being is wrapped up in that secret. So that we can believe on Him for completeness and the fullness planned for us from before the beginning of the world.
This mystery/secret is the reason the sun comes up in the morning and sets at night. The world exists mainly for this secret to come to light in the hearts of men.
Right now, if you have believed on the Lord Jesus Christ, you are born again and the creator lives in you. Not only the creator, but the healer also lives in you. In fact he is your righteousness, wisdom, sanctification and redemption (1 Cor 1:30). He is all and in all. He is everything you will ever need. He is grace and He is eternity. He is the only life that you have and you live by His life and faith. You do not need anything else but this understanding and a renewed mind. You are complete in Him. Col_2:10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: And all things will work together for good for you. Rom_8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
In finality, this world is your class room. You are in the Lord’s school and everything was designed for this one purpose: TO REVEAL CHRIST IN YOU! (Gal 1:16) This completely fits in with the grace message of the Apostle Paul which was given to him by Christ Himself. (Gal 1:11,12) Everything that you encounter, all circumstances and situations, in your world, is to reveal Christ in you. This is the mystery revealed! Rejoice and rest in Him. (Hebrews 4) This is the great message of liberty for you. Be blessed IN CHRIST!
